the eyes traveled across her perfect body, stopping to appreciate the curves she never asked for, her dress felt a bit too revealing at moments like this.
Every Gwen-droid has suffered the hands and comments that dripped out of the higher ups mouths like poison, every one of them connected by technology, memory, and abuse.
every one of them connected in ways that words could never describe, and to be disconnected from the hivemind would be a fate worse to death for many.
and every gwen-droid is connected by smiles, by performance, by a child's awe filled expression. Gwen kept her smile on just for them.
every Gwen-droid has to smile, not just for the kids, but for the adults who get just a bit too close, too touchy, she smiles at teens who throw rocks and graffette her face. because a gwen-droid that isn't smiling is a broken guin-droid.
and broken gwen-droids get fixed, they get sent to oliva, and oliva ripes them apart and biulds them back again, before sending them off like she didnt just violate them in the worst way humanity could.
Gwen-riginal had lived for years, jumped off every high ledge, smiled at every misfortune and felt every single one of Olivia's emotions.
The first time her dress was torn off of her sensitive fake skin was the first ‘repair’ session Olivia had organised, she and Mr Orville taking her to a repair station and-
[ Erorr ! ]
but she put it back, covered her up, hid the evidence of the abuse from the employees and Gwen smiled as if nothing had happened, as if she hadn't been broken and hurt them put back together
It didn't take long before Olivia didn't even care to hide the remnants of her sessions on her, leaving her to walk around naked and dazed in the hallways, Guin hated it, the way every employee who saw her in that state stopped to take a good look.
some even touched her, Olivia only cared if they damaged her program.
Eventually Olivia needed more than just a surface leave rebuild to be satisfied, she reached her insides, her blue fleshy insides. and without mercy decided to expose them to everyone, using her umbilical cord as a leash to pull her around when she was too dazed and broken to wander the halls without bumping into the walls and staff.
and so she jumps, again and again and again until oliva refuses to leave her unattended, now shes always guarded, never alone with herself and the hivemind, Olivia makes sure she doesn't damage herself in a new and unique way.
Some attempted Guin almost believed Olivia was impressed at how creative she was. Of course she couldn't be though, Olivia's precious Gwen hurting herself was wrong! Gwen must be so lost and confused. and thus she had to be repaired again.
And so Gwen smiles, at children, at parents, at teens, at young adults who kidnap her, poison dripping from their mouths, telling lies that they don't want to hurt her. Those kinds of humans made the need to jump stronger, just find a ledge, any ledge, and jump off.
And so she does, it takes years, decades even, even though Olivia promises to her that jumping won't do anything, that her skin and systems aren't that fragile.
Gwen doesn't believe her, because if it was so hard then why was it so easy for her? Why was it so easy for anyone to reach in and grab her intestines?
and so she plots, she smiles, and gives in to Olivia's sessions, she doesn't fight back anymore, she needs to make Olivia believe she has given up on escaping.
and when the time is right, she jumps, not down into the park, but into the murky water, where she could be free, maybe if she was lucky dead even.
and so she smiles as she falls through the air, as the water becomes closer and closer, as freedom welcomes her with open arms, ready to free her from her painful existence.
but people find her, and she smiles, because what else can she do? she cant cry, it isnt in her code. They are going to sell her to be a plaything, let others touch her and shatter her beyond recognition. {again.}
but two humans save her, not that she isn't grateful but the idea of being torn to pieces was the most appealing action she's ever heard of, she would embrace death with open arms.
and then they almost die for her, and Gwen screams because why, why would they risk their lives so much of her? for a broken qwen who cant even move, she’s no longer pretty or perfect and yet people still want her.
it hurts to think what their true intentions may be, maybe they want to use her just like Olivia did, break her and put her back like a break-and-snap toy just for fun.
but so she saves them, an apology for them almost dying, her life isnt worth thiers, they still have much to live for. she wount let them sacrifice their life for hers.
and she smiles, because if it all goes right, she will die.
the beast will land as many hits on her as she will on it, she knows its not coded to kill but if she moves into the right spots she will get hurt enough. she will make sure they both die.
and the smiles.
she will be gone if she does everything right.
she falls at their legs.
