   Summary

   When Castilla von Valancius disappears somewhere in the Atlas Reach star system, Calligos Winterscale's world is split into before and after. Before she vanishes, in the months after her Magnae Accessio, she breaks the bounds of the possible and captures his interest, his curiosity.
