You’ve never stopped loving him, you’ve never stopped giving him attention, even if he held back—you’ve never stopped even if it meant the flowers were blooming.

Sneakers squeaking across the gym, volleyballs thundering, lights shimmering off the floor. You had no intention to be there in the gym, but you were there, because you’re only there for your best friend, Motoya Komori—you guys were childhood best friends, living through past struggles and memories, but he was Sakusas cousin, the one who hurt you the most—the one who never piqued his interest in love, the one who made your lungs hurt with thorns.
He never paid such attention unless you were with Komori, He would always give you dirty looks—never paid much attention to it, since it was just his nature. Why did you love him so much when he was the one making vines grow ?
“Sakusa-kun!” Motoya exclaimed, jogging up to the dark curled boy, “have you heard of the hanahaki disease? I’ve heard plenty or rumors going around..”, Sakusa scoffed, “Thats not real.”
“Well.. it is just a rumor—but I’m still hooked up on it” Komori added, as he got ready to leave alongside his cousin.
