Debbie/Deb:  Dec 18, 1972

Anna: April 30, 1974

William/Billy: May 14, 1976

Matthew/Matty or Matt: Sept 6, 1979

Zoey: Nov 3, 1981. Fifteen minutes older than Cloey 

Cloey: Nov 3, 1981

Jesse James: July 13, 1983

Chapter 2: One: Where Do Babies Come From?

It makes sense that they'd be curious. After all, there'd been four for a while now, and suddenly a fifth one is coming. 

His two oldest, at 8 and 7, had the most basic of understandings. Mommy carries the baby for nine months, and then they have a baby brother or sister! They also understood that Daddy had some part to play in all of it, but details are fuzzy and not concerning enough for them to ask. 

His third child, however, needs all the answers. At five years old, she wants to know everything. 

"Daddy?" Anna looks up to her father at his desk. "If babies come from grownups, and only grownups can have babies, who had the first baby?"
