"Aaaaaaaannnndd... There we go!"
Gelatin smiled, looking at how much effort he put into his Halloween costume. Actually, scratch that, this wasn't even a costume. THIS was the ultimate Loser impression. He managed to make himself a cuboid shape, just like Loser, which is exactly what he wanted for Halloween.
Gelatin loved Loser. He wasn't like, the ultimate Loser fanboy, but still, he admired just how much Loser had done. One day, he hoped to have that level of fame. As he stared at himself, Gelatin cleared his throat, before speaking, "Remember, you are my Losers!"
It was perfect. The impression of his voice. The way he looked. It was all... perfect. He was going to pull it off. THE ULTIMATE LOSER COSTUME! This was everything he wanted. Everything was going according to plan. And now, it was just time to get candy and show people just how cool he really is.
-25 minutes later-
"So, what do you have to say for yourself?" Police Hat asked.
Handcuffs tapped his foot, "Impersonating Loser? Really?"
"It's Halloween!" Gelatin replied, "Aren't we supposed to dress up in costumes?"
Police Hat sighed, "A costume would be wearing something. You've entered the territory of impersonation."
"We're going to have to take this to court..." Handcuff groaned, "This is why Halloween sucks."
"Do I at least get candy?" Gelatin asked.
"No," Police Hat and Handcuff said at the exact same time.
Gelatin sighed, "You two are no fun."
"We're the police," Handcuff pointed out, "Of course we aren't fun."
"This is serious business, kid," Police Hat added on.
-AT COURT-
"Look, kid, it's still impersonation. However, under the case that it was Halloween, I think probation's better than jail time. Six months of community service, kay?" the judge asked.
Gelatin nodded, "Yes sir."
"So... That's why you don't like Halloween anymore?" Lollipop asked.
Gelatin nodded, seeing her dressed up in a witch outfit, although he himself wasn't wearing anything, "Costumes are fun and all, but I don't want to risk another run-in with the police."
"I get it. You can man the candy bowl and not eat any, right?" Lollipop asked, "I'm going to be meeting up with Ruby and Flower for trick-or-treating."
"I got it. Have fun with Ruby and Flower!" Gelatin waved her goodbye.
Yeah, he could spend a few hours by himself for the night.
