Muscular surged downwards and Izuku surged up to meet him. The man was overwhelming, stronger than anyone Izuku had had to face. His bones splintered under the pressure, hot blood running down his arm, quirk sparking brightly as his fingered crumpled like tinfoil.
Muscular pressed down upon him and even the earth yielded under his power. It warped and stretched like putty, sinking him into the earth as he splintered apart at the seams. He didn’t want to die -
A hand pressed against his shoulder.

Summary
In the aftermath of Izuku’s fight with Todoroki, Aizawa questions his Problem Child as to why he thought breaking all his bones to help Todoroki was a good idea. After all, his students’ well-being is his responsibility, not his other students’ and Aizawa was going to confront Todoroki about his fire on his own terms anyway.
Aizawa assumes this is a given, but Izuku’s a bit more honest than normal thanks to the painkillers.
