Summary
The idea of having a Digimon and Bendy and the Ink Machine crossover was driving me crazy, especially since Halloween is approaching fast.
I mean, can you imagine the digidestins turning into digimon/human hybrids combined with the ink from the machine? Getting tainted by the ink and becoming part of the Cycle World much like Audrey or Willson?
Now that's a horror crossover fanfic.These are just a few stories that I have in mind.

Those were also Noah Tatsumi's thoughts when he decided to come camping with seven other children, it was an activity he had been dragged into at the request of his friends.
However, he would quickly realize that this day, this summer, would be like no other as he finds himself pulled into the jaws of an unknown world full of dangers, all alone.
…maybe not so alone.

I don't think the author is English, so expect some mistakes. But they're manageable. The first person moments are hardly an inconvenient either. The story can still be enjoyed.
The story is mostly the one from the Original series. However, the elements surrounding the divine are related to "Frontier". The big bad is Lucemon, who in this timeline, uses Vandemon instead of Kirpymon. There's also the DigiData.
There are also the "Tamers" elements. But those are tasked with protecting the sidelines, which is the barrier between our world and the Digital. They were chosen by the Goddess possessing Kari herself, meaning it's through her they'll be introduced into the story.
Speaking of the kids, there's the prophecy to defeat evil, but the Digiworld in this version is harsher and more violent. Not only that, TK is separated from the main group. He and his Digimon are partnered with an OC human, who's friends with two Digimon capable of evolving through corruption without losing themselves. Considering the Darkness inside Sora and Yamada, plus the bigger stakes, and the fact TK finds his way to...Curious Digimon in this fic, I think the children are getting darker here. I have my doubts about this prophecy.
It's the first "season crossover" I'm reading, and I'm really enjoying it. I understand an OC protagonist is not everyone's style, but in this case, I believe it works, as a crossover is pretty much an alternative timeline/new universe. And Noah's actually likable. Btw, I think there's gonna be a ship between him, Mimi and Izzy in part 2 (which is gonna be set 5 years after part 1, instead of 3).

Summary
("Horizon Wars" is a series based on my rewrite of Digimon Frontier. The first book follows the events of the anime while everything after that is original content.)
In times immemorial, the Digital World's people were split in two and fell into chaos. The Human and Beast Digimon fought one another fiercely for control of the realm before a mysterious angel by the name of Lucemon appeared to quell the calamity. Lucemon was named as the ruler of the Digital World and oversaw a period of peace never witnessed before in the realm's storied history. However, Lucemon eventually grew corrupt, turning against the people he once loved and becoming a tyrant and a conquerer. Fighters of the elements known as the Legendary Warriors rose up to fight against Lucemon, eventually sealing him away at the center of the Digital World. After their deaths, the Legendary Warriors passed on their power to a new generation, this time to a group of humans from the Digital World's parallel realm: Earth. Years later, the time has come for the new generation of Legendary Warriors to rise and fight a new threat to the Digital World for the fate of both homes and both sides of them, human and Digimon.
