Summary
It's been a hundred years since the death of Tengen Uzui, The demons are contained, the world cured of disease and humans given extended lives and youth due to the research done on them to create new medicines. The experiments much more ethical than that past had held. The bloodlines of Sanemi and Tengen live on through their daughters and descendants. The demon blood diluted until it no longer affected them anymore. A world that is finally at peace.

Summary
Sanemi Shinazugawa and Tomioka Giyuu are sent out on a mission to investigate uppermoon 2. They fight with him and manage to decapitate him sacrificing themselves in the process. Muzan finds them just before death and turned turns the two into replacements for his uppermoons but someone intervenes on Sanemi's behalf allowing him to keep most of his memories. Now he just has to keep Tomioka from devouring every human in sight.
