For being the object of so many men's obsession there is surprisingly little written about Tatyana and her life, especially before those brothers tangled her up in their life. This is a long form fic about her life. If you want to see the perspective of a woman who grew up during a war, lost her family, found purpose, and complicated relationships that changed the course of a kingdom this is the fic for you.
As a Curse of Strahd DM I changed the major characterization for my Tatyana and the nature of her relationship with the von Zarovich brothers. This is the lore I used in my game.
I wanted it to be a tragedy that all could have been avoided if they made different choices but that would require them all to be different people.It still ends the same way as the original Cannon with Strahd killing Sergei and Tatyana falling over the outlook, but the journey is very different.

Follow 2 separate timelines with intertwining characters endure romance and tragedy. The first and main focus takes place from 1903-1910, latched on Tomioka Giyuu the main character, a french writer and poet, as he deals with hidden Gender Dysphoria and his past of abandonment and shame, later falling in love with the King of England, Shinazugawa Sanemi, and paying the price. The second timeline takes place from 1926-1930, latched on Shinazugawa Yume, the King of Englands daughter, as she deals with the stress of finding a worthy husband and the mystery surrounding her mothers disappearance. This will have 9-10 chapters and probably finished by the end of summer or beginning of fall 2025, the last update if it takes a while will probably be around new years.
I took inspiration from Netflix's Blue Eye Samurai, gachatuber L3n0reXD royal au, and the video game Mouthwashing.
This work has been getting updated every 2-3 days, It was created on the 16th of June (I believe)
This work won't stop updating considering I have already written a rough draft script for the entire series. -
