Izuku had dreamt it all. The warmth, the peace, the fleeting contentment. But how had he fallen asleep on the ground in the first place? In late afternoon, in front of his junior high building?
He scrambled to his feet and reentered the building, climbing the flight of stairs for what had to have been the first time that day, because Izuku was not crazy and had definitely not come back to life.
What had happened? What sick twist of fate suddenly decided that he had to stick around?

Alternatively: Midoriya Izuku tries to end his life, but by some mysterious quirk, he gets stuck in a time loop instead. Now he needs to use what little remaining strength he has to find the hero who did it, so he can end it for good this time.

“You shouldn’t be anywhere near here,” Spider-Man insisted, posture tightening.
Steve quickly stepped in, “What he meant to say is we’re very sorry we missed you. This was a highly dangerous attack.”
“We know,” came a nonchalant voice from the shop doorway. A young woman had emerged without Wanda’s notice, nor, judging by his quick step away, Spider-Man’s. She wore a collared shirt and a name tag that read MICHELLE, lifting the rolling pin held in her hand. “We had it handled.”
Spider-Man glanced between them, backing away. When he spoke, it wasn’t with the sure compassion he usually held for New Yorkers. His words shook; he was angry. “You could have been seriously hurt! What the hell were you thinking? Are you stupid?”
There was a shocked silence. Wanda had no words. She had once heard Spider-Man apologise when someone multiple feet away from him tripped on their own shoelace.
Something is wrong with Spider-Man. Yes, more than usual.
It’s four years after the blip, and while everyone else has finally found their footing, Spider-Man is losing his.

[Spoilers for Loki S2E5]
Canon divergence where Sylvie is right, they never needed the TVA and the multiverse being free is a good thing after all. The branches don’t die, no one is getting spaghettified, there is no multiversal war. However, no one from the TVA remembers it other than Loki. They have lives on the branched timelines, independent from each other.Loki sends his friends back to their lives, but still feels lost. Without the TVA, where does he belong? Where else can he go?
With no better ideas, Loki decides to reunite with his brother and hope for the best. Thor had always believed in him, maybe they had a chance now to make things right.

Then a pinch at his neck, like a bee sting, but deeper. Darkness. Then here.
Huh. Kidnapped. That’s new. If he was less emotionally dead from finals and sleep deprivation, he’d probably have a stronger and much more appropriate reaction to that.
At least he's got Captain America and the Winter Soldier to keep him company.

His phone rang, echoing around the small bathroom and causing him to flinch. He answered the phone and put it on speaker without looking at the Caller ID. He grabbed an extra roll of toilet paper, thinking that, if he had a prayer of making it home, he had to at least staunch the blood flow. “Hello?”
“Hey, kid, are you still here?”
This was worse.Or, after landing the plane on Coney Island in "Spider-Man: Homecoming", Peter isn't as unscathed as he likes to think he is.
