Steve quickly stepped in, “What he meant to say is we’re very sorry we missed you. This was a highly dangerous attack.”
“We know,” came a nonchalant voice from the shop doorway. A young woman had emerged without Wanda’s notice, nor, judging by his quick step away, Spider-Man’s. She wore a collared shirt and a name tag that read MICHELLE, lifting the rolling pin held in her hand. “We had it handled.”
Spider-Man glanced between them, backing away. When he spoke, it wasn’t with the sure compassion he usually held for New Yorkers. His words shook; he was angry. “You could have been seriously hurt! What the hell were you thinking? Are you stupid?”
There was a shocked silence. Wanda had no words. She had once heard Spider-Man apologise when someone multiple feet away from him tripped on their own shoelace.
Something is wrong with Spider-Man. Yes, more than usual.
It’s four years after the blip, and while everyone else has finally found their footing, Spider-Man is losing his.

“Don’t blame me,” Happy began, which was never a good start to any phone call. “Blame yourself for what I’m about to tell you. I have Peter Parker in the backseat, and he’s drunk.”

Peter Parker has two Identities: the friendly neighborhood Spider-Man and the Photographer Peter Parker. Peter earns money by selling photos of Spider-Man to J. Jonah Jameson.
When the Avengers find out that their favorite Spider is getting slandered by a newspaper, they decide to protect their (Junior) member by suing Peter Parker. Why? Because without his photos, the Daily Bugle wouldn't be taken seriously at all.
Now Peter needs a really good Lawyer to convince them that he isn't doing anything bad while keeping his identity secret. Can't be too difficult right?

No one knows that Peter Parker is Spider-Man. The Avengers threaten Peter with legal action because he sells photos to the No. 1 Spider-Man hater.

Sam’s brother was, true to story, scarred from head to toe. He could see the puckered skin on his hands, the burns across his bald head. But that wasn’t the shocking part—the shocking part was that he’d already seen it before: he’d seen it when a certain vigilante’s suit had been destroyed three nights before, and Peter had walked with him back to his backpack to loan him some clothes.
