Summary
They always thought they were so clever, that they knew better than the lowly prince from across the sea. Be it his brothers, his parents, a witch, some hapless princess from a kingdom far off; they always thought themselves to be further than they actually were.
Hans knew what he had to do to claim what was his, he knew the risks, what it would take, how long it would take. It was just a good thing he was willing to dirty his hands, but for the title of king, there was no low he wasn't willing to stoop to so he could achieve it.
Whether that meant throwing someone else beneath him to soften the fall, he would do it.
He would do anything.
Even that of turning back the clocks, returning to the moment in time where everything that he'd hoped for, everything that he'd wished for...had all come undone.
For if there were one thing people always underestimated with him, it was the lengths that he was willing to go to get what he wanted, and in his mind?
What he deserved.
