Summary
Knitting and Wei Ying had a love hate relationship. He loved the constant motion, the sounds of the needles brushing against each other, the way a particularly soft yarn slid through his fingers. The way that he could combine two stitches to create thousands of different patterns and outcomes, just like his beloved binary code.
But, unlike his computer programing, knitting had a bad reputation. Well, not exactly bad but a gendered reputation. It wasn't true, but it prevent Wei Ying from being unable to separate the idea of knitting from little old ladies.
So, he kept his knittinging secret. Sure it was awkward knitting in closets and bathrooms he thought no one would stumble into, but it was the price he was willing to pay to knit. It was a price he planned on continuing on paying. Going to college wasn't going to change that......or would it?

Summary

Cloud Strife is an omega, disguised as a beta and illicitly working as an infantryman. Omegas aren't allowed to work in the army. For starters, he has no desire to meet his fated pack and has gone to great lengths to keep them from finding him.
