Brilliant Works

Absolutely fucking brilliant works that I keep coming back to. From sweet to dark, I seriously love these stories with all my heart!
I will never hide this, so please don’t worry about your stories if you accept the invitation.
This collection includes some Harry Potter fanfiction that I’ve chosen to keep for personal, nostalgic, or transformative reasons. I want to be explicitly clear : I am a trans man , I stand 100% with trans and queer communities, and I despise the transphobic views of the author of the original books. She does not define this fandom, and she absolutely does not speak for me. These works exist in spite of her, not because of her.

Summary
A Season 2 AU in which Will Graham did not, at any point, accuse Hannibal of being the Chesapeake Ripper.
Will Graham is the smartest person most people will ever have the misfortune to meet. Hannibal Lecter has been no exception; he's brilliant, but his failing is that he assumes he's the mastermind in every situation. He still thinks Will didn't pick up on every weird joke, every coincidence, every threat disguised as a charming quip, every flashing neon sign that screams "Hannibal Lecter is the Chesapeake Ripper!"
Now, Will has to decide what he wants from Hannibal. For the first time in his life, it seems like there's a possibility that somebody might be close enough to his level for a real connection. Hannibal is an apex predator in a garish suit, blind to Will's superior camouflage, and the Ripper's obsession with Agent Graham is so obvious it's drawing attention from... undesirable sources. If Will can manipulate everything to his desired outcome, Hannibal could become the equal Will has always wanted.
If he wants to protect their fragile peace, it'll take a lot more than just Hannibal Lecter.
That's fine. After all, Will has never been able to stop himself at just one stray.

The shield purred.
Well. If Steve wanted to be pedantic, the reaction wasn’t exactly a purr. It was still a piece of metal. But eighty years ago, when this had happened for the first time- the low vibration accompanied by this violently content sensation spreading across his mental link to the weapon, light pulsing gently along its runes and a low hum emanating from the center- Bucky had laughed and said it reminded him of a cat.
Steve, privately, thought the term was fitting. Something about the way it responded to his touch, like one of the alley cats that always strolled up to Bucky and started rubbing themselves on his pant leg after he'd stopped Steve from getting beat up by the asshole of the week.
Bucky had thought it was sweet.
Steve, well-aware that a semi-sentient magical object connected this intimately to a wielder took on more than just their magical energy signature, thought it was horribly transparent.
Or: Steve’s shield is a semi-sentient extension of his magic, and only allows the people it trusts to protect Steve as loyally as it does to touch it. That is a very short list. One that, apparently, includes the Winter Soldier.

Summary
Dean Winchester is divorced, emotionally constipated, and way behind on the deadline for his next book. Naturally, the solution is to install a hyper-intelligent, slightly smug OS named Castiel to help whip his life into shape.
Cas is efficient. Supportive. And kind of charming, in a weird way.. Also? Unreasonably flirty for someone who lives in a hard drive somewhere.
Dean's not falling for him. He's just.. lonely.
So, why does Castiel feel like the only real thing in Dean's life?

Draco Malfoy was perfectly content, or at least trying to be, rebuilding his life as a doctor in a world-renowned Muggle hospital, telling himself he didn't miss magic — or the dream of one day becoming a Healer at St. Mungo's Hospital for Magical Maladies and Injuries.
So when he gets an offer he can't refuse, 120 days to rid the centuries of curses in Number Twelve, Grimmauld Place in exchange for his wand and a ticket to the Healer Apprentice program, he takes it.
The only problem? Harry Potter is absolutely furious about it.

Summary
It started with a clogged drain. Will put himself in a position to rescue Hannibal's dinner party, hoping to ingratiate himself to the good doctor as he gathered evidence. What he didn't anticipate was how much fun it was to fix things for Hannibal Lecter.
In return, Hannibal offered to act as a cooking tutor for Will Graham, talking him through making dinner nearly every night.
Are small home repairs really enough to fix what's been broken between these two?AKA Dev's Season 2 AU where she makes Will Hannibal's personal handyman.

Summary
It took the barest glance at his surroundings to figure out that he wasn’t in the vents anymore, but in a dingy alley. He had been sitting right next to a trash can, which explained the smell that was just now washing over him. The walls were plastered with black and white, peeling posters advertising local nightclubs and shops- none of which, upon his first glance through, he recognized. One of them, which advertised a place called Samuel's, declared a MIDNIGHT SHOW- Every Saturday- 25 cents a ticket.
25 cents. A ticket.
Triple futz.
It didn’t take Tony Stark to figure out where Clint was. Or, actually, when he was. Which was definitely not any time in the past thirty years at least. Twenty five cents. Jesus christ.
Clint slumped against the wall, raking his hands through his hair. “Aww, time travel, no,” he muttered, entirely to himself. He had been having such a good day too. Completely incident free. Except that he had accidentally knocked over Bucky’s coffee this morning in the communal kitchen and fled instantly. But he wasn’t ready to deal with the mortifying ordeal of thinking about that yet.
(or, the time Clint Barton went back in time and fell in love with Bucky Barnes all over again)

Summary
Getting Bucky back is possibly the best thing to happen to Steve ever. Even if Bucky is not exactly the fella he used to be, keeping him close is definitely #1 on Steve's to-do list. That being said, ending up with Bucky's consciousness riding shotgun in his brain is probably too close, even for Steve.
Thanks a bunch, Deadpool.

Summary
In one universe, Dean Winchester is pushing thirty. He’s just danced at his little brother’s wedding, he likes his job at the garage, and he goes on the occasional hunt with friends and family. He’s also desperately lonely for someone to share his life with. One day, he finds a mysterious package outside his door. It contains a news clipping about an urban legend that just might be real, and a book by Professor Castiel Novak, who happens to specialize in that same urban legend.
In another universe, Castiel Novak’s roadside motel is slowly dying, its business hollowed out by the interstate system. Dean Winchester, the man who asked him to run away together years ago, is only a painful regret these days. Until the day a mysterious letter Castiel doesn’t remember writing brings Dean back to his doorstep.
Out there in the multiverse, a man and an angel look for each other in all the wrong places. In the meantime, they might as well help a few other versions of themselves figure things out.
