Actually good fanfiction, mostly Tony Stark-centric MCU fic because I have a minor obsession. 616 influences or plotlines, etc. may be present depending on the fic.
Update 4/10/22: So recently I watched the RDJ Sherlock films on Netflix and needless to say I fell in love and am currently binging fic from the criminally small collection here on AO3. Will be adding a few of those to this curation. My collection, my rules.

Tony has always been guarded, but when an incident causes him to shrink down to mere inches in size, the Avengers realize just how vulnerable he is without his usual walls to hide behind.
He doesn't expect them to understand, much less to take care of him while he's borderline helpless, but they do, and after the initial shame and embarassment passes he finds himself...grateful. And afraid.
It takes the Avengers everything they've got, but they don't stop until they're satisfied that Tony feels safe, loved, and happy, and knows they aren't going anywhere without him.
