You get too close to someone like that and it’s only a matter of time before they draw blood. Dabi knows that for a fact because Hawks tastes like a death sentence on his tongue. He kisses with teeth, always, and his nails bite where it’ll hurt. He’s mean. He’s sharp. He’s focused and goal-oriented. He’s like Dabi.

The stranger that caught him sounds exhausted.
Dabi – frozen in front of one of the fridges with his knee bent at 90 degrees and propping up his zipped open backpack, one hand stuck inside to lift up the fake bottom and the other shoving a tray of meat in – looks at the man standing ahead of him. If he sounded exhausted, then his appearance sure confirmed that he is. He doesn’t look like he’s even in his thirties, but there are dark circles under his eyes and his black hair is carelessly spread over his slumped shoulders. His posture is almost as bad as Dabi’s and he has just about the most haunted expression Dabi has ever seen on another person.
“You gonna make a fuss over some sausages?” he snaps.
“Kind of my job.”
Dabi scoffs.
“What are you, a cop?” he asks mockingly with all the attitude a kid his age could emulate, and then some.

A little bit about Touya’s time after he died and some people he met that he’ll definitely never see again. Right…? Really, he’s just a normal teenager doing normal teenage things, as long as you don’t ask questions.
