Eddie Munson has always been uncomfortable around jocks, especially Steve Harrington. When he gets a job at family video and has to hang around Steve, he realizes the guy isn't as bad as he thought. -

Eddie sat in front of him until he sobered up, so close their feet bracketed each other like quotation marks. "Talk to me, Harrington," he said, and for the first time in a long time, Steve wanted to tell the truth.
"I don't want to be him again," Steve said, and he didn't have to elaborate. Eddie took a deep breath, leaning against the wall behind him. Steve was just grateful he didn't laugh; It certainly sounded ridiculous enough when he said it out loud. Eddie's face was still serious, though, when he spoke again.
"I won't let you be." And Steve had believed him.
