   I’m a bit in love with this idea. A wonderful xover and extremely elegantly executed. You built the anticipation to find out what their animals are so well. I was itching to know Vetinari’s and now all I want to do is see the terrier and the panther being affectionate with each other while Vimes and Vetinari try to be professional. Even better I want to see Vimes tell s.o. how much he loathes Vetinari while Daffale licks the panthers chin in the background. Thank you for sharing. x

      Thank you so much, I'm glad you liked it. I must admit I was a total tease about Vetinari's daemon! Once the idea occurred to me I just couldn't not run with "Vetinari's terrier." I do think it would make an already interesting dynamic between Vimes and Vetinari even more interesting as the daemons often reveal aspects about their humans that the humans don't
      always do themselves.
