    Since I can't press the Kudos button more than once (well technically I can, and do!, but it has no practical effect after the first time), I'll say kudos to you for writing this on your phone! So glad you updated and I'm excited how this all plays out.

    Who the hell locked them in the closet? I'm assuming it's like Troy or someone because I don't THINK you're gonna go into the supernatural in this fic (doesn't gel with the vibe I've been getting) and Jason doesn't really make sense to me.

    Also, they're in eighth grade in this fic, right? And that makes sense, timeline wise? (It's super late, I'm not coherent enough to math and timeline)

    [Btw I'd only just realized that you have a set number of chapters in this fic and am wondering how El and Max are going to get their happy ending when we're 9 chapters in a 23 chapter fic and the two of them can barely hold a conversation]

      Eleven braiding Max's hair because it always gets in her face when she skateboards. Max reading El a book and explaining every word she doesn't understand.
