It is a classic isn't it? It threw me when I was researching for it and learned it was initially considered a flop. I'm so glad you're enjoying it! While watching the ballets, the first one I watched had a long haired man and I was like TERRY SILVER!!! And it just seemed perfect, a guy who had according to the original story was both beloved and a little feared, rich but also a little eccentric and I just felt like it was very fitting. I thought it'd also be a good chance to dig a little at his missed opportunities. He got forced into a life he didn't really want but for financial stability he didn't have a choice. Plus I thought it'd be fun to put Johnny and Terry in the same circles and so making Johnny the godchild felt very fitting.
