      Oh good God, counting all the Canon alicorns (5), Lauren, her husband, her daughter, the other main six, and shining armor possibly, that would be like 13 alicorns
      And that's not counting any possible extra children they have (probably at least one or two which would bump it up to 15), or twilight's student from the future episode that may eventually exist here (That could bump it up to 16)
      Or if cadence is shining armor have a second child, That could be the 17th alcorn, or who knows the baby could be born a Pegasus or unicorn.
      Or oh my God pinkie pie's son with cheese sandwich-
      Would he be an alicorn?! Or would he stay a earth pony like his father?
      If he's an Alicorn as well that would be 18, oh God it's getting so close to 20 alicorns- And again that's not counting possible extra unknown children

      (Not adding Sunny Star scout from Gen 5 though, since this world definitely would not take that route. Who knows the whole, maybe in the far far future with a world more like modern?
      Also DEFINITELY not adding the villain from that show at all, or the alicorn City thing that apparently exists in Gen 5)

      Omg, I just realized that if a Fluttershy becomes an alicorn that means discord won't have to outlive her! That would be wondrous

      I am thinking about so many alicorns right now
      This world went from one and could possibly go to 20 or more within a lifetime

      Because this is also not counting the other main six having any kids, pinkie pie having more kids, that could all possibly be alicorns

        Yeah, Fluttershy being eternal like Discord and sharing a forever friendship with him would be wondrous.

        And let's say I DID take some inspiration from Gen 5, a few key elements (since I didn't like the premise)

          I am both intrigued and frightened by which possible elements you are taking from, but since you're saying you didn't like the premise that calms me slightly, since I am going to assume then that there will be no 'all the magic is lost' ruining twilight's happy ending-? Or if so at the very least all the pony races won't be divided again and the other creatures of Equestria won't be gone-
          I guess I'll have to wait and see though to be sure

      The cutie Mark crusaders would become so freaking popular if their sisters/sister stand in for scootaloo, became princesses. I don't even want to imagine if they also became alicorns, too many alicorns oh God-
      But like, if they did they would totally be the alicorns of cutie marks like how Twilight is the alicorn of friendship
