I began this series in 2006, as a crossover with Grey's Anatomy. I thought Methos should be a doctor again, and decided Seattle Grace, the hospital in the TV series, was as good a place as any. That being said, I think you could read the stories and not ever have seen an episode of the show. Plus, the majority of the stories don't have Grey's characters in them - it's a very uncrossovery crossover. The hospital functions as a setting, and the series deals with the price of Immortality; a favoured theme of mine. The last story I wrote in the series was set in 2059, and had Duncan, but no Methos - very different for me! Though it did tie up all the loose ends, I'd always wanted to go back and write what happened after, but never did. Maybe one day.

The series title, Live To Tell, is from the Madonna song. It only came to me as I was writing the last story, that the lyrics were pretty much perfect.
