UNTIL LLOYD’S UNCLE GIVES HIM A SURPRISING OFFER--JOIN A NINJA TEAM WITH A SECRET IDENTITY. LLOYD IMMEDIATELY ACCEPTS, AND THE GREEN NINJA IS BORN. POWERS ARE REVEALED, USED, AND EXPLORED. GARMADON GETS CLOSER AND CLOSER TO DEFEAT, BUT THE EVIL WARLORD HAS SOMETHING UP HIS SLEEVE.

“What’s wrong?” Nya asked, noticing the hidden worry on her brother’s face. Kai shook his head. “Nothing.”
“Liar.” Nya said, hands on her hips. She moved in front of him, blocking him from going any further. “I’m making sure we don’t go anywhere until you tell me what’s wrong.”
Again, Kai noticed the same guy from the corner of his eye, and he leaned down to Nya’s height and whispered, “I think someone’s following us.”
Nya’s eyes widened, but other than that, she showed no sign of fear or worry. She simply nodded, took Kai’s hand, and continued down the street, skipping along like she was still unaware of the situation.
As the two headed into the wood–like area that was the fastest route to home, Kai practically felt someone breathing down his neck. He squeezed Nya’s hand tighter, fear coursing through his body, but he didn’t let it show.
“Nya,” he whispered. “When I let go of your hand, I want you to run, okay?”
Nya didn’t respond, but simply squeezed his hand tighter in affirmation, and Kai felt a presence—the presence, creeping closer.
He let go of Nya’s hand.

Summary
Soo...all my friends on AO3 keep asking me, "Why do you torture Lloyd so much?" Well, I like putting my favorite characters through trauma and angst and I'm sure people can relate. So, I decided to torture Nya because the fandom doesn't have big stories in which Nya is the main character, (there's only one-shots), so I thought, "Screw it lemme write one myself."
SUMMARY:
Everyone has their reasons for becoming a police officer. Maybe they were forced. Maybe the profession stood out to them. Maybe they had some experience that prompted the idea of becoming a police officer.
But that's only a few reasons. There are others, too.
Like for instance, one of these officers is out for revenge.

“Aren’t you a little young to be fighting crime?”
The Green Ninja glanced down from the window ledge where he was standing. Without missing a beat, he replied, “I’m not that young.”
The police officer, the one who had asked the question, gave him a raised eyebrow. “How old are you?” He asked.
The officer watched as the boy in the green suit jumped from the ledge to the pole nearby, spinning on it several times before his feet slapped the concrete of the sidewalk. “That’s classified.” Was his response.
OR: Lloyd meets Jeff, a police officer who he bonds with as the Green Ninja, but then suddenly, the same officer and Koko, his mom, become friends. It's up to Lloyd to make sure this officer doesn't find out who he is...
Oh, and there's this whole mess with Garmadon and stuff Lloyd inherited from him, but he'll deal with that later.
...probably.

“Can’t we have one mission without something crazy happening?!” Kai heard Green scream through the comms as his dragon mech spun out of control.
Kai, who was currently in his firehouse red fire mech, let out a gasp and began to run towards the out-of-control mech. Moving the controls this way and that, he let out a shout of “Hang on, Green, I’m coming!” as the fire mech leapt into the air. Kai pushed open the cockpit and jumped onto Green’s mech.
