Summary
Ladybug is a concept of a person that has survived since the beginning of time itself, the creator of all, the first creation of Earth. Time and time again, she has been born and killed and born once more. The rebirth of Ladybug in Marinette Dupain-Cheng was no different, a ladybug with the memories of each ladybug that came before her, each life she had lived before her own, each version of her greatest love etched into the back of her mind. Living eternally in her cycle of rebirth, she had learnt many things and loved many people; learning that she could never love Cat Noir for seeing his death caused her to wish for her own. They would never be happy, and she had learnt to accept that.
Cat Noir was almost as destructive to himself as he was to the objects held in his clawed hand, but in his destruction, he knew the beauty of his lady's creation. Too many times had he let her die at the hands of his recklessness, too many times had he let her slip through his fingers. Never again, and as Adrien Agreste, he would make it certain.
