Summary
Pain is beautiful, but how much is too much?
Sionna Blossom has been living a good life under the care of the affini compact for the past two years. She's got a good friend group, a nice house and local community, and her hobbies don't cost her a single dollar. Everything is painless. It's never been better, from an objective point of view. But something is missing from her perfect life, and a meeting with the affini doctor Feroschaea Voluptas promises to give her back what she's been missing.
But exactly how trustworthy Feroschaea turns out to be, and what her plans are, aren't things she's letting on. Can Sionna make it out of this independent? Can she even make it out alive?
A steadily and inevitably derailed slice-of-life fic about loving both hurt and comfort, and the fantasy of becoming so miserable that you finally get help. New chapters weekly, fingers crossed.

Summary
Set in GlitchyRobo's Human Domestication Guide setting.
Humanity has been invaded by a precursor race of hypercompetent plant dommes called the Affini, and forcibly given paradise in a post-scarcity culture that heavily prioritizes the care for its protectorates, to the point of drugging and mind-controlling them into a blissful reverie if necessary. For almost everyone this is a vast improvement. All that's required is to give up any silly notions that anyone except for the Affini know what's best for everyone; in many cases the poor things clearly don't.
Indi has a fun day in the place with the big people.
No formatting tricks or anything this time. This story takes place on the Trillium, but does not require any part of The Place Where We Can Stop Running to understand.

Summary
Collars & Control is a fun sapphic space romp centered around Calderia and Violet Frostadder. Unreliable narrators, hypnosis, lost time, and cognitohazards are everyday occurrences in this part of Compact space.
Season 1 is Violet's story, about a capable sapphic girl in over her head, and an Affini that knows exactly what to do about it. Calderia loves Violet deeply, and will do anything for her. She gives the girl the freedom to thrive in the Compact, but equally enjoys taking it away.
Season 2 is Renne's story, where she comes to terms with life as an independent citizen of the Affini Compact. See her struggles and celebrations along the way to finding her place in a strange world where anything is possible.
If you haven't read Collars & Control you are welcome to start here, or you can read Collars & Control: The Past, the prequel to the main story first. Either way you won't be spoiled on either story :)

For almost everyone this is a vast improvement. An interlude set in The Place Where We Can Stop Running's continuity, starring one Cybin Thapsia and her floret, Dem. It intends to be standalone, but it refers to events in that story, albeit none of the large ones. To be fully spoiler-free, read this after Chapter 31; to be mostly spoiler-free, read this after Chapter 19. But bear in mind that those recommendations are if you want to know nothing about The Place Where We Can Stop Running until you read it.
