Summary
Shouta is a dragon that lost everything at the hands of human butchers. When he awakens from a long hibernation to discover that humans have infested his territory, all he cares about is seeing them driven out or dead.
Izuku has other ideas. While he doesn't want to kill what might be the last of the dragons, he still has a kingdom to defend.
But a dragon that isn't a dragon is no threat at all, and maybe that'll buy Izuku enough time to convince Shouta all humans don't deserve punishment for the crimes of their ancestors.
In which Shouta is an angry dragon with a contentious relationship to pants, and Izuku seduces him with the power of freckles and good parenting.

Summary
After leaving teaching behind for a less than dramatic return to heroics, Izuku is assigned perpetual nightshifts to ease the transition. Initially, he finds the dark hours peaceful, but when his coworker goes on sick leave and he has to patrol solo, he’s concerned about the creeping loneliness.
All of that changes when a crow appears, stalking him, stealing his coffee flavoured snacks and in shocking twist, helping him arrest attackers and chase thieves! Izuku wonders: Could it be the guiding crow god, Yatagarasu?!
Shouta meanwhile, is in a concealed state of misery. His co-worker and secret “unrequited” love has quit his job. Initially he thinks it's a good thing. He can finally lock away this pointless affection and focus on teaching… until a rare opportunity presents itself. A way that he can be close to his treasure without making a mistake and ruining their strictly professional relationship. With this, he can bask in all that beautiful warmth and enjoy those sweet, intelligent mumbles.
Maybe being the victim of a quirk attack is an opportunity, not an affliction…

Izuku wonders how he feels about all of this—festivals and rites that don't really have anything to do with him. The people's wishes don't have anything to offer but burdens.
How does it feel, he thinks, to only be asked of and not asked after?
Running a finger over the white flower resting behind his ear for safekeeping, Izuku wonders. He can't get the man out of his thoughts, not with how desperately he wishes to do... something. To apologize, to make up for it, somehow.
Maybe, he can start there.
Maybe, for the Keeper, it'll be enough.
