Harper, fleeing Marley for...personal reasons, was thankful for the ad an Erwin Smith had posted for a roommate needed. A new country, a new city - a safe place to start over. A place where she can quietly heal her heart, piece by piece on her own.
Because Levi doesn't need a friend in this new roommate, and Harper is quite content being left alone. Right?

Eren and Levi have their secrets.
Eren has a past were he didn't give a fuck about anyone except for his parents.
Levi lived with his sister, holding the blame of their dad leaving over his head because of what he is.
Being together was the best secret they had after meeting.
If Eren didn't mind telling Levi he was a monster and if Levi couldn't help the thug, people made him out to be when he was just trying to protect himself. Then let that be another secret kept between them.
If they were magnetic then why stop the pull.
They were just them together, a soft love. But if no one was willing to see the monster hiding in plain sight or try to understand someone, forced into a role, who were those people to try and stop them from loving each other. To dictate them from being together even if being together is against the law.
To keep themselves safe their love is a secret they're willing to keep.

After a series of unfortunate events leaves his car broken beyond use, he's forced to stay in a local family's mysterious—and haunted—stilt cabin. Lucky for Erwin, his situation is not all bad. Amidst the backdrop of the Louisiana wilderness, he feels a pull that transcends time towards one specific local.
