The Duke of Gotham happens to be in recent need of an artist.
Cue Bruce Wayne putting in the barest minimum into a project he doesn't particularly care about and Kyle being shoved off the cliff that is social standing and into the churning sea of the Ton.

With a roar Jason slammed the door open and waited for an attack to follow. Instead, he was suffocated with the sour scent of spoiled milk and distressed pup and Jason almost collapsed at the whiplash. The thick, rancid scent seeped from the grey-green walls as if the building was made out of sponge. The raw terror pressed down in a way that had Jason’s knees buckling. Scanning the room, he found wrappers of his protein bars littering the floor, water bottles were strewn about and his nest looked like it had been well lived in. There goes my fucking supplies.
Then his eyes locked onto a small mess of black hair and tan skin. Pup.

He’s long since made peace with his wrong doings when it came to the skewering of his relationship with Dick Grayson and the overall trust that’s absolutely going to break when the truth comes out. He’s not losing sleep over that anymore, isn’t making stupid mistakes in the field or his every day life with the guilt that he feels over betraying either of them. Is that right? Definitely not, but Kyle chooses not to think about that anymore, not when the rewards are so much sweeter. So why is he ignoring the omega? It’s simple really.

Not when Jason is sprawled out on this utterly ridiculous Akatsuki blanket that he insisted Kyle needed, head tilted back in glee so that the column of his neck is perfectly exposed, cheeks rosy and hiding the freckles that Kyle knows are there, practically mapped out all with as much as he’s studied them, plush lips pulled back into the biggest smile that pops the dimple only on his left side as his body shakes with unabridged laughter.
