There are several things Dick knows very well about Slade Wilson. He is ruthless, he is opportunistic; he is not the sort of person who lets a payday slip away. He is not, however, a kind and available father. It shouldn't be a problem.

But Dick cannot let an innocent life be extinguished, even if that choice comes at a high cost. He will pay it. Just. He doesn't realize how long he keeps having to do so, or that he can share that burden with someone else.
