As soon as he stopped coughing, he hoped it was just phlegm. It had to be just that. It had to be. Felix opened his eyes, slowly pulling the tissue away from his mouth and folded it right away, in a way that made it impossible to check the inside. Even like that, though, the crimson blood staining it was very much obvious. There was no way he could continue putting it off – he already knew, anyway. Deep down, he just knew.
But even though Felix knew, there was no way for him to stop the way his heart dropped when the tissue was fully unfolded.
Right there, in the center, laid a yellow flower petal.
OR: Felix has hanahaki but has no idea who he has a crush on. Oh and he keeps it a secret – he doesn't want the attention.

Hikaru doesn't really mean to end up the owner of a flower shop slash cafe slash book shop on the outskirts of Sendai, but then, there probably aren't a lot of people who would plan for something like that. He does mean for The Compass Rose to be a place that points people to where they're supposed to be, and helps them find just what they're looking for. He even does a little magic about it, maybe. And maybe it works a little too well.
