You are swept into the Band of Seven, and survive by making some unexpected friendships— and more. Your love for Kagome is tested by your intense romantic connection with Bankotsu, the leader of the mercenaries. As your loyalties are tested and your morals pushed, you try in futile to postpone the ultimate decision: will you go back to Kagome, or stay with the villains she's fighting?

This fic is all, 100% for me, and you should mind the tags - This is definitely a "It's for me, but you're allowed to read it if you'd like since the self-insert is neutral" situation even if it's inherently unappealing to most. Superhuman strength and excited, giddy rapists are not a good recipe for internal organs. Yes, my period does feel worse than any other injury I've ever endured, I need to go see a doctor. Yes, I'd much prefer if it was a cool anime boy causing the sensations instead of underlying medical issues and growing infertility problems.
