In the chaos of battle, in the midst of all out war, Sapnap makes a decision.
He didn't realize it at the time, how this decision he made would impact the world around him. Would change everything.
He contemplates the nature of leadership and loyalty. The differences between his side and theirs. The reasoning behind why he stays when others would've left.
Sapnap asks himself why he's fighting for a man who sees him as nothing more than a weapon to be used.
Asks himself if Dream is worthy of his loyalty.

The Sapnap betrays Dream and joins L'manburg AU that nobody asked for, complete with lore, and a rare pair ship that me and maybe a handful of people will be excited about.
Oh yeah, did I mention that him betraying Dream completely fixes the timeline?
Yeah apparently the best way to untraumatize the DSMP is to let Sapnap stab Dream during the L'manburg war. Yeah I was surprised too. Summary
With a server filled with so many different kinds of hybrids, everyone knew that misunderstandings were going to occur. What was seen as polite in one culture screamed hostility in another, what was seen as rude to some of them was basically a marriage proposal to others. It had been a problem at first, their very definitions of words had been different between species, and they had taken quite a long time to figure that out and clear it up. But they had figured it out, and they'd had many long and confusing conversations to try and make sure that they were all on the same page.
They all knew to try not to jump to conclusions when it came to things that were only implied instinctively and not explicitly, and over the years they'd been friends they'd all got quite good at asking for clarification when they were confused.
They'd got so good in fact, that they'd started reaching the point where they stopped having problems. It helped, of course, that they'd done some research into each other's species and the cultures that surrounded them, so they were actually quite good at understanding each other by this point.
Still, even after all that time, it was something as simple as a feather that stumped Scott.

Tango is a blaze/avian hybrid.
His mother was a blaze hybrid and his father an avian.
When Tango was born, people assumed he was just a blaze hybrid.
His wings never came in, no feathers appeared/grew anywhere on his body to speak of, he just had his father’s bird like instincts (smushed together with his mom’s of course) and vocalizations.
Tango is what is called a false hybrid [an hybrid who does not have physical attributes of their hybrid nature, instead only having the internal attributes (instincts and sometimes vocalizations)].
He also decided not to tell anyone this information, not because he did not trust them or something.
Far from it.
He never told anyone because he thought it was not that important to tell.
or, 5 times ppl did not realize Tango was a false avian + 1 times someone did.

"I don't know, Tango, okay!? I thought those years meant something more than just a business venture," Scott remembered those nights spent in their tents, taking watch for bandits and plotting routes to villages who might want their services. He remembered the days spent travelling, Tango fighting demons and Scott conjuring spells, time spent in towns, and earning a night in an inn doing busy work for the town.
He also remembered those sparing glaces he had thought he'd seen from tango. Those touches when they both picked up an object simultaneously, and the red cheeks Scott swore they both sported. "I guess I was wrong," he finished, biting his bottom lip and preparing to just leave.

“Yup, stage one is completificated,” Tango announced proudly. “Just needs one final ingredient.”
Jimmy nodded seriously, as though Tango’s words had made any sense. Then, in a move much smoother than the clumsy avian normally managed, he bent down and scooped Scott into his arms, taking off down the hallway before he had even registered what was going on. Scott considered yelling, but he was a simple man, and he was glad to be off his feet and get the opportunity to get up close and personal with Jimmy’s arms. He knew Jimmy went to the gym, but knowing and feeling were two very different things.
“Awwww, my favourite bluebell,” Tango cooed, as though his own face wasn’t bright red from Jimmy’s little show of strength.
“You’re just jealous,” Scott replied, resting his head on Jimmy’s shoulder and smirking in the way that he knew always made Tango just a little bit insane. His boyfriend liked it when he looked confident.

Team ZITS (as they call themselves) lies to have a sleepover weekly.
It’s Skizz’s turn to host.
They all lay in the angel’s bed.
Skizz is sitting with his back to the headrest, Impulse, sits in his lap, little tail wrapped around the angel’s left wrist. A bowl of popcorn the duo shears sits in Impulse’s lap. Skizz rests his chin on Impulse’s shoulder and the demon will feed his boyfriend popcorn, both of them in pajamas.
Their other boyfriend, Tango lays on his belly, a pillow below his chest, his feet touching the headrest behind him on Skizz and Impulse’s right. The Blaze hybrid has on a pair of pajama pants (redstone themed) and a shirt that is definitely Impulse’s (clearly shown by the black fabric and big yellow ‘i’ in the middle). Tango munches on a pack of gummy worms.
The fourth and final boyfriend in the polycule is Zed.
The sheep hybrid lies next to Tango, his hooves are on Impulse and Skizz’s left. He has on a pair of sleep shorts and a tee shirt. He has a pillow under his chest too, and a bowl of popcorn in front of him.

Jimmy ruffles his feathers as he eats, trying to listen to his husbands talk, but the mud that had gotten in his wings has dried now and is irritating him.
“Jimmy?”
Jimmy looks up from his mashed potatoes.
Everyone else is already done eating, they have been talking and now all three of them are staring at him.
Jimmy's cheeks turn pink from the attention.
Tango puts his hand on Jimmy’s shoulder, “Hey Rancher, you okay?” he asks, “You look uncomfortable."
Jimmy wets his lips before speaking, “The mud in my wings dries and it’s irritating me.”
“Do you want us to preen your wings?” Scott asks.
Jimmy looks at all three of his husbands, “Could you?”
“Of course silly.” Martyn says.

Zed sucks in a pained breath as the electric shears he was using nick his skin below his wool, causing him to bleed.
The sheep hybrid turns off the clippers, grabbing the towel next to him, drying up the blood.
He grabs the small jar of styptic powder he keeps just for this, dabbing some of the yellow powder on the cut, putting pressure on it to stop the bleeding so he can get back to attempting to shear the wool off his legs.
Zed hates that he has to do this, frustrated tears slowly slide down his face.
Sometimes he wishes he was not a sheep hybrid, feeling envious of his friend who doesn't have wool.
The sheep hybrid sits on his bathroom floor, wool and wool shears on the tiled floor.
He is about to pick up the shears again when he hears the doorbell ring.
Zed sits there, terrified someone will find him.
He hates having to shear his wool and would hate someone to see him doing it.
But the sister fates must hate him because he hears a voice call out into his base, “Zed!” the voice calls, “It’s Tango, where are you at man?”
Or, Zed is having a hard time shearing his wool so Tango helps him
