Hiding in a storm shelter on a night when werewolves patrol the surrounding areas should have given Emma and Abi plenty of time to reflect on everything that's happened to them. Unfortunately, time is limited for somebody infected with the werewolf curse, and death is almost guaranteed given that neither of them are aware of the impending transformation.

After being arrested for various murder charges Emma, Abigail, and Kaitlyn all try to adjust to life in prison. Easier for the humans, but as someone still infected with the werewolf curse Emma finds it all a bit harder. She's more aggressive and short-tempered, not to mention she has to purposefully land herself in solitary confinement once a month. Then one of the other inmates goes after Abigail and every bit of self-restraint Emma had worked for goes right out the window.

It was supposed to be just a fun, stupid job at a summer camp. But when the van catches fire, all seven counselors are forced to stay for an extra night. The darkness falls, and the hunters strike. After scrambling around like frightened mice, Abi and Emma manage to find each other, and they hope to survive the rest of the night by hiding in a storm shelter while the other survivors are scattered all around. Unable to put survival instincts above their own morals, however, the two girls decide to try to rescue Jacob, the boy who'd been captured by the family of cannibals wreaking havoc on the camp. Unsurprisingly, the operation does not go smoothly for them.
