La réponse à toutes ses interrogations lui vint sous la forme d'une proposition de sa mère : partir en voyage pour découvrir l'île où elle était née, découvrir les merveilles de la mer que ses parents avaient aimées plus que tout.
Rouge n'était pas sûre que Ace était prêt pour ce voyage, pour la vérité qui l'attendait. Mais elle savait aussi que l'incertitude lui faisait du mal. Peut-être que c'était elle qui n'était pas prête. Peut-être que ce voyage serait aussi bénéfique pour elle que pour Ace. La mer lui manquait de toute façon.
