Sun's out, buns out, broh! The vacation's been planned for months and Rick's not gonna let his cantankerous mood ruin it for Morty. He deserves it—to finally smile with mirth like he's always wanted since the day Rick asked him out, and not deal with the tiptoeing they were accustomed to under Beth's thumb. It's nice, you know, to finally shed a layer of worry from his aged face, his hands free from weaponry unlike their usual adventures. Though there's always a but ready to wedge itself in. Always a rock to capsize this boat.
After a night of horrors foisted over a trapped Morty, it fundamentally changes him. He can no longer look at anything in the same way, rotting from within. And his flaming bastion, a constantly-penitent Rick, ends up steering their relationship into a brick wall. It crashes and splinters into fragmented ache that neither are sure how to clear the rift.
Is there any way to heal a broken heart when the one person you relied on pleasures himself to your vilest memory?

mortys and summers parents are away on another trip and their left alone with their grandpa rick. Having a party, Summer was having the time of her life meeting aliens and glipglops from other universes. same goes for rick meeting new 'women' and getting laid by 20 girls at once.
Morty on the other hand, is having the worst time of his life. having to clean up all the beer on the ground and having to clean up the rest of the drugs on the table. while people add even more. Morty tries to convince summer and rick to stop the party before it gets out of hand but they all each get distracted with their own things and totally forget what they were originally doing.
morty had fun sight he other mortys but got to into or so he ran to his room waiting for the party to end already. While the others were wasted out of their minds, morty cried in his rooms all the bad memories coming back.

Shortly after, a part of his brain argued that he was the one who had felt it the most; everyone else had moved on from it, packed all their shit, and forgotten he existed. Kept walking, kept going, kept living without him like nothing happened. While Morty was with the feeling of surviving, and the more he kept surviving, the more he felt like he didn’t want to do it anymore.
