This is the first part of additional (bonus) content for the Shattered Hearts: Love Always Finds a Way series. There are details in the series that I couldn't expound on in the SH chapters. I didn't get the chance to go deeper into the relationship between Michaela and Mykah. Key to how they developed a friendship and later a romantic connection, all began as Mykah helped Michaela work through her deeply rooted problems. This additional content will tell the other part of the story not developed in the SH series.
This first part takes it back to the beginning when Michaela was newly at Mykah's apartment. The timeline for this fits in with Chapter 21 of the SH series.
