A hand reached past him. Eui-jae heard the lock twisting and clicking into place. Sa-young was too close, one foot landing between Eui-jae’s own. Eui-jae felt the boy’s breath puff against his neck, causing the hair on his arms and nape to stand up straight.
Eui-jae couldn’t stand it. He tried to step to the side, but Sa-young followed him like a shadow. Hands pressed to his shoulders, and Eui-jae hit the door with a dull thud.
“Hyung,” Sa-young called again. “It’s late, Hyung. Come to bed.”

Before J could flee, Sa-young was already there, gripping his arm and leaning in. J’s dark eyes grew wide, and Sa-young tightened his grip slightly when his hyung tried to jerk away. His hyung’s familiar, sweet scent surrounded him. Sa-young grabbed ahold of J’s other arm, just in case. The words slipped from his throat before he could stop them, and he murmured, “Where are you trying to go again?”

Ah. Sa-young shouldn’t be surprised his hyung didn’t remember him. It had been eight years, after all. Sa-young had grown, and he was wearing a mask. His grip on his hyung’s arms grew a bit gentler, not wanting to hurt J.
Sa-young had waited long enough. He wasn’t going to wait for his hyung to connect the dots himself. “Eight years ago. You promised you’d come back.” Sa-young’s eyes greedily took in every change in his hyung’s expression. Confusion, surprise, realization— “I waited, Hyung. Don’t make me wait any longer.”
