Anakin Skywalker is the Chosen One, destined to bring balance to the Force in one way or another. In some universes, he lost his way to the Dark Side but returned to the light with the help of his son. In some, he was accompanied by time-travellers - whether that was his Master, his son, his men, his padawan, or others – who guided him, preventing his fall. In few others, totally random by-chance events (that were quite hilarious at times) guided him.
In this universe, the Force decided to help the Chosen One by sending two cat-not-cats to guide him.
