Summary
Nuadan Bahad has lived for millennia fighting the enemies of the Aeldari. An experienced Farseer, he has served the Craftworld Ulthwé and their fight against the forces of Chaos for as long as his memory has distinction, and it doesn't seem like that will stop any time soon. However, when his squad gets dragged into a three-way battle with a group of Space Marines and Orks, he has a vision that changes his life and threatens him in every way possible: the Astarte that tried to kill him is going to be the only person that can save his life.

Summary
Lieutenant Caius Atelinas is many things: angel, demon, soldier, saint, and above all, an Ultramarine. A distinguished veteran of uncounted battles, his squad is often sent on some of the most dangerous missions to defend the Imperium of Man from the enemies of Mankind no matter where they show their faces. When he is sent on a mission to retrieve a stranded Tech-Priest on an isolated world at the edge of Imperium Space, he finds himself confronted with something much more dangerous than a downed space craft.
Soon confronted by agents of Chaos, an Orkish invasion, and a squad of Aeldari all seeking the Tech-Priest or the ruination of the planet, Caius and his squad find themselves at the forefront of a fight that will put their skills to the test and sets Caius on the collision course with an unexpected ally - Farseer Naudan Bahad of Craftworld Ulthwé, his long-time rival and ally, who has come to the planet seeking out a familiar foe and a mystery that they both believe had faded into the shadows.

Summary
Following the routing of the Chaos Marine Hepharion and his warband on the planet of Pelamon, Caius and the Ultramarines of the Twentieth Tactical Squad make a hasty dash for the outpost world of Alamarri VII in an attempt to save their brothers of the Imperial Fist who have been fortifying the world under mysterious orders from the Adeptus Administratum and the Adeptus Mechanicus. Aided by Nuadan and his dwindling squad of Asuryani, Caius sets out to try and stop Hepharion and his warband before they claim another world while protecting the Titan heart salvaged from Polemeca while waiting for an Adeptus Mechanicus vessel to take it to Mars.
Arriving on Alamarri, they meet Captain Finn Varis of the Imperial Fists and the Forward Engineering Battalion who reveal that the situation might be far more complicated than they would ever imagine as a series of ancient Eldar Webway gates are discovered beneath the fortress. Hepharion's interest in the planet could be more threatening than they could possibly imagine.

Summary
Primarch Roboute Guilliman has returned. The Imperium has entered into a new era, but for Lieutenant Caius Atelinas his mission remains unchanged in the months since the siege of Macragge: find Hepharion and stop whatever he had planned for the scattered fragments of Project Apocalypsis Dominus. When he is approached by Inquisitor Raynes val Hestian of the Ordo Xenos, this plan becomes more complicated. Conscripted by the Inquisitor to aid Deathwatch Squad Ostentia's mission on the planet of Cosperan, a small shrine world at the edge of the Great Rift, home to a crusade of Black Templars on a mission of their own, things become a lot more complicated as he begins to see that Hepharion's grasp is much, much larger than he had originally anticipated, and that the psyker might not be the only thing threatening the planet as another enemy lurks just out of sight.
Upon his return to his Craftworld, Nuadan Bahad finds himself under siege from his own allies as a tribunal finds him in violation of the edicts of the Asuryani. Seen as a liability, he is sentenced to reflection and quarantine pending a trial to decide his fate. However, a visit from a Harlequin sets him on a path that will test the very strength of his soul.

Summary
Following the successful defense of Cosperan from the Drukhari, Caius and his newfound team receive the formal blessing from the Inquisition to go after Hepharion on the planet where it all began: Novrasa, the dead world once home to the heart of Project Apocalypsis Dominus. They head first to Novrasa's twin, the paradise world of Orphis, where they learn that the ghosts which are said to haunt the sister world might be far more sinister than just old stories to frighten children at night.
Pursued by the Kabal of the Screaming Dawn on one side and pursuing Hepharion on the other, the group's problems only mount when Bahad learns that he himself is pursued by the last person he wishes to see. Sent by the Farseers of Ulthwé to hunt down their wayward companion, Autarch Cial-Cadach has tracked Bahad to Orphis and will stop at nothing to bring him back, no matter how vital his role in putting an end to Hepharion's machinations might be.
Armed with time, the group knows that they need to find a way to land on Novrasa and unlock it's secrets before Hepharion, unaware that what they might find there could change everything they know about the project... and themselves.
