He moves so fast that Sephiroth can only flinch before there’s a sword buried in his torso, pulled seemingly from nowhere. The umbrella is gone. Sephiroth chokes out a mouthful of blood, expression a rictus of shock. Masamune vanishes. His hands go to the sword buried in him.
“Enjoy hell, you Cloud-hurting son of a bitch,” Zack says pleasantly, and twists his arm.

Summary
Cloud, pulled back in time and brought up to be an eternal adversary, extension, and counterpart to his greatest enemy, reaches the final battle with Sephiroth. As they tear through each other and even the fabric of space and time, the fight ends in a world wholly different from the one it began in. Cloud wins. At long last, he wins.
Unfortunately, winning is only the beginning of his fight to make sure more people don't die because of him.
