Summary
Morpheus is the chief navigator of the starship The Dreaming, gifted with the ability to connect to the sapient ship; when he's not with the ship, he's with his friends and loves, Hob and Jessamy. One day, a routine supply mission goes horribly awry, the other navigators necessary for piloting the ship incapacitated and leaving the ship stranded far from home with no one to help. Morpheus convinces The Dreaming to let him navigate alone, knowing the result will spell his own destruction.
