What happened to Susan Ivanova after season 4? This truly excellent fic picks up where the TV show left off and was written by Stephen Barringer.
(This fic is technically incomplete but a LOT was written with 43 parts posted so don't be afraid to give it a try.)

I found this story on the internet one day and had a good laugh. As the author states, it is a parody of both Babylon 5 and Star Trek: the Next Generation which favors neither show and pokes fun at both. It begins with the Enterprise D ending up in Babylon 5 space because of some rift thingie. ;)

Summary
LJ user eye_of_a_cat once told me that every Lennier fan is required to write at least one redemption fic. Likewise, I suspect that every Marcus/Susan fan is required to write at least one reunion or resurrection fic. This is that fic. I hope you'll forgive me.
The major character death of the non-canon variety happens after a long, full life, and off-screen, if that makes a difference to your decision whether or not to read it. Just FYI.

Summary
Set in the same AU as "Twenty Years On", this takes off from the end of the flashback in that piece and carries Susan and Marcus's courtship through to the first time they actually manage to get together (gasp!). I can't remember the exact wording of the request anymore, but it effectively came down to hearts_blood and I talking about how damned awkward and hilarious Marcus and Susan's first time must have been, what with it being Marcus's actual first time, and them being, well, them. I may not have quite hit the hilarious, but I definitely hit the awkward at a few points.
