Earth barely managed to avoid its own annihilation thanks to the last second assistance of new alien visitors. Slowly, civilizations that had been nearly destroyed through nuclear warfare, famine, and disease are rebuilt with the Autobots' help.
But the Autobots' assistance isn't entirely altruistic. Earth has something they want. Because mixed with the millions of others are humans with spark signatures and the potential to become sparklings. And the Autobots who had believed they were doomed to a slow extinction, have no intention of letting their new little ones go.

Summary
All cybertronians have ingrained in their very sparks an absolute repulsion towards hurting sparklings and a base need to protect and care for them. This is standard to most species, though cybertronians seem to feel it more than others; a command rather than a request. This is perhaps nature’s way of ensuring that the few sparklings that come into the world remain safe and cared for. It is logical. However, no one expected sparkling protocols to take over when cybertronians first came in contact with humans. Perhaps humans and cybertronians are more closely related than first thought.

Noah Diaz decides to take Mirage on a road trip where they learn about each other’s differences such as in culture and everyday life. During their journey of learning each other it takes an unexpected turn where a decepticon intrudes this journey and the new duo has to learn how to depend on each other more and strengthen their bond to become inseparable.

Death, it was just a minor setback, nothing major. Sam's determination to help the bots was still strong. It didn't matter that they were not the same ones he knew. Even if watching his guardian in another universe interact with someone else who was not him, pained him. He'll bounce back
And he was not alone, after all. Charlie is here too. She is great, good with cars and just as awkward as him. And just as stupid as him actually. But she was also grieving, like him. But does that still mean what she did was justifiable? And her naming skills needs serious improvements
