Summary
(AU) Professor of Film Studies Adam Jones has to find an topic for his publish-or-perish book project, and what more attractive subject for him than a “lost” film which just happened to be directed by his best friend Maynard Keenan…except that Maynard is either missing or in hiding, and anyone who might know where he is (or what happened to the film) isn’t exactly forthcoming. Thus he must turn to the one person who is the least cooperative...Danny Carey: Maynard’s ex, co-author of the screenplay and a ritual magician who indulges his grudges (and has moved on with a gorgeous new boyfriend named Justin). Will Adam’s research become yet another piece of perilous lore associated with this seemingly cursed artifact?
