Summary
Single mother Edelgard von Hresvelg is at her wit's end. Her teenage daughter Augusta has become increasingly difficult and immune to her advice and guidance. After Augusta has dropped out of school prematurely Edelgard realises that something needs to change, for both of them. Guided by adolescent hubris and a strong rebellious spirit Augusta takes matters into her own hands. If her mother couldn't handle her any more it was time for her estranged father Sylvain Gautier to step up.
Augusta believes she is merely going on a harmless summer holiday abroad, but gets more than she bargained for when she finally learns about her parents and their past, something her mother and her family had strictly kept from her all her life.
