    Gently, he scooped Speedy up and plopped him down on Minho’s side of the bed. He then flicked his bedside lamp off and crawled into bed himself, only pulling up the duvet to his stomach.

    Arching his back, Speedy kneaded his paws into the pillow by Gally’s head, then sniffed at his hair. “Go to sleep.” Gally whispered, turning his face away from the kitten.

    In retrospect, Gally wished he hadn’t been the one to bound forwards first, but it was instinct. It was always instinct for him when it came to Minho.
