When he stumbles inside, he meets a kind woman who tells him the story of the sleeping prince resting peacefully in the museum garden. According to the tale, the prince was cast into an eternal slumber by a fairy, one that can only be broken by a kiss from the love of his life. Hua Cheng thinks it's ridiculous. No one should be kissing the unconscious prince! Mark his words; he'll never leave the museum again if it means looking out for Dianxia.

Ainsi, il déménage, sachant que Hua Cheng le suivra partout où Xie Lian choisira d'aller. Il ne sait pas quand son mari depuis plus de 2000 ans le suivra, ni dans quel rôle il se glissera avant de se présenter comme le personnage qu'il choisira. Il sait cependant que ce sera excitant et il a hâte qu'ils fassent à nouveau connaissance ! Il ne savait pas non plus qu'il se ferait kidnapper à un moment donné, mais c'était de toute façon un petit détail sans importance.
Je conseille fortement de lire les parties 1 et 2 de la série avant de lire cette troisième partie, car vous serez probablement très confus sinon,

Snippets of HuaLian’s reign of WuYong throughout history all the way to the present, where Xie Lian thinks it’s about time for them to focus on themselves instead of the country.
Thus, he moves out, knowing Hua Cheng will follow him wherever Xie Lian chooses to go. He doesn’t know when his husband of over 2000 years will follow though, and neither does he know which role he’ll slip into before introducing himself as whichever persona he chooses. He does know that it’ll be exciting though, and he can’t wait for them to get to know each other all over again! He also didn’t know he would get kidnapped at some point, but that was an unimportant little detail anyway.
I highly advise to read Part 1 and 2 of the series before reading this third part, because you probably will be very confused otherwise

But the truth is that she doesn't pay much attention to it either: the mysterious entity doesn't bother her, doesn't throw things at the walls, or write threats in blood on the mirrors, and Xie Lian has no problem leaving a few knick-knacks lying around to thank her for her cooperation, for being a good supernatural being who doesn't bother her any more than necessary to satisfy her inhuman curiosity. From homemade sweets with her mother's recipe (even if they look like tiny lumps of charcoal with too much sugar) that disappear completely, to intentionally leaving books and crossword magazines on the coffee table in the entrance hall for the supernatural being to entertain herself while she comes home from work.
The cohabitation is peaceful, practically one-sided. At least, at first.Or, Xie Lian moves into a new flat where, apparently, there is a supernatural entity. Not that it's a problem for her. At least until the supernatural entity turns out to be a beautiful subcubus demon, Hua Cheng, and Xie Lian is just a human. A pretty horny human.
