Summary
There wasn’t a way for Bucky to defend against coughs and fevers, only Steve, his doctors, and God could sort that out. Bucky does however vow everything he is and will be to Steven Grant Rogers in that dark sterile room, from now until the end of the line.
Sarah Rogers could hold the hope for them both and Bucky would place himself as a shield between the world and Steve whenever possible. ‘Cause he knows there would be no slowing down Steve Rogers and the trouble the blond could find himself in was astonishing.
