很久很久以前，不被杀就不会死的吸血鬼统治了世界，将不被杀也会死的人类赶到了世界的边缘里。但是就在那个时候，“以月为名的太阳”的少女出现在了众人面前，将自己的血液赋予“死”和“生”，受到人们的敬仰。
然而并非所有人都喜欢她，就比如那个坐在王座上的人。
直到某一天，她倒在了一个白色的身影之下，随后世界开始走向崩溃。不被杀就不会死的吸血鬼们染上了未知的瘟疫，即使什么都不做也会逐渐走向死亡，曾经可以永恒的生命现在开始走向灭亡。
就在这几百年的绝望里，那个白色的身影不知何时再次出现，人们也开始追杀他。
——“我知道你，我听说过你的传闻。只要吃了你，我就能活下去。”
——“这一切都是你的错！你就是最恶劣的家伙！”
——“杀人者，要收拾这个世界的残局；罪人，要为这个世界付出代价。”失去记忆的那个人从棺木里走出，走向这片满是死亡和“永夜”的世界里，开始了追寻记忆和赎罪的旅程。
