The characters are mainly based off the Disney film, but occasionally parts of the novel as well. Reader is in her late 20s, Frollo is in his late 50s.
Extra: Although he's still a bit obsessive, it's definitely more tame. I plan for it to have a nice ending, as I don't like tragic endings. There will be smut and romance of course. It's the first fanfiction that I'm writing, and I hope you guys enjoy it!

Esmeralda has just reached her 21st birthday, but there's no celebration. Only the constant fleeing from soldiers that make it their life mission to capture and prosecute her people. Sometimes, she lets herself dream, but why bother- if nothing will ever change?
Phoebus de Châteaupers has just returned from the wars, and although his biggest issue was navigating through Paris- His finding there's problems that run much deeper in this city, and the Captain is sure that the Archdeacon has something to do with it.
Quasimodo's Master always told him he was ugly, hideous, and below human. Quasimodo himself didn't personally think that, and neither did the gargoyles- but heaven forbid his Master would get angry. The Hunchback no longer respected his Master Frollo. He was terrified of him.
